Advanced Filters "issue"

In advanced filters, if i add multiple search terms, the search treats them as "OR" searches. if i multi-select categories, it treats them as "OR" searches if i multi-select tags, its a differeent behavior. The tags used to default to "AND" but now i notice a complicated set of rules between tag groups (default to AND) and tags within a group (defaults to OR) Id like customers to be able to select multiple categories and/or tags and have it be treated as "OR". In other words, default everything to OR and if someone wanted different behavior for some reason, they could change it to AND. The reason I created tag groups was to match the categories (and the color of the categories). without tag groups, the tool assigns a new color to every single tag, making it too hard to manage. See picture attached. But people expect to filter to ANYTHING selected (OR)...not AND
