Fix changing timezones when filling map

We are having an issue where my colleague submits a start and end time for an event, and Proxi will automatically change the times to be four hours later. We're not sure why this is happening, but I'm assuming it's timezone based. Why would Proxi automatically change the timezones that we fill out? It should only change when viewing the map, if anything. If I enter something to be at 7 PM, it should be at 7 PM not change the entry to 11 PM even if I am in California. Please fix this. This is causing significant workflow issues.
